PodCon 2006 Actual Expenses
Tuesday, January 24th, 2006The PodcasterCon budget has always been public. I’ve made estimates the best I can and we’ve worked hard to stick to them. Here is the original budget estimate on the wiki. The original budget estimate was $2,791.24. PodcasterCon actually cost $2,440.95. As of today we’ve raised $3,165 — $860 from 25 individuals and $2,305 from four organizations. The majority of the organizational donations was from Cache Networks. That leaves us with $724.05 in the bank.
All of the remaining funds have been put in a savings account to help pay for the next PodcasterCon. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you, donors! Thank you, participants! We made PodcasterCon happen together!
