PodCon Name Tags

I’m working away on the final details of PodcasterCon. Check out the nifty name tags I’ve been making. They are made out of old floppies, orange twine, green tape, silver marker, and hot glue. We should have two hundred of these suckers when I’m done. When you receive one of these you’ll be able to write your name, url, or what ever else you want on them. I hope you dig the D.I.Y. reuse aesthetic. :)

    great idea!

Maybe the size of name tag should be inversely proportional to our contribution to podcasting. wink wink!

Thanks John. The name tags will be hand out on a first come first serve basis. Nothing perjorative about small vs large. I like the small floppies too. They’re stealth! :D

I bought all the floppies from a store in Durham, NC called the Scrap Exchange. They’re a non-profit who resells neat old stuff. Such a wonderful place to visit. REUSE!

I wonder if there was anything on those floppies. Did you stick them in a computer to check?

  4. BrianR Says:

Not sure. But when I found them they were all in a dusty barrel hanging out next to magnets…
