A BIG thank you to Harold. This type of pro-activeness is one of the reasons I want to make this event as a group. Lots of smart folks working together is *bound* to be better than one or two.

So I've secured the domain and am currently having it redirect to podcastercon.org. I wanted to make sure the domain wasn't swept up before this idea had a chance to germinate.

Before anything else, my suggestion is to secure podcon.org before another expo does. (In fact, podcon.com currently redirects to PodcastExpo.com.) Then, I suggest using PodCon interchangeably to refer to PodcasterCon; it's catchy and other popular expos have uses similar and smaller names.
